Administration Guide

PowerDNS :program:`dstore` is a long-term storage & retrieval engine for DNS messages.
It implements its own fast storage system directly on the file system, thereby avoiding both the overhead of an external database as well as external dependencies and points of failure.

This document first describes the components of :program:`dstore` in detail.
Furthermore, it details the configuration and deployment options.
